GASSOL YOUTH EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVES (GYEI) is dedicated to the development of at-risk GASSOL LOCAL GOVERNMENT youth through an integrated academic scholarship program, a youth capacity-building and communication program. The final goal is the creation of youth leaders with a social conscience that are agents of positive change in TARABA STATE ,NIGERIA ^[2]

GASSOL YOUTH EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVES received approval by the federal government to implement a 1915(c) Medicaid Waiver. The program, called Youth Empowerment Services (GYEI

), allows more flexibility in the funding of intensive community-based services and supports for children with serious emotional disturbances (SED) and their families. HHSC and DSHS worked collaboratively to develop the waiver, and sought input throughout the process from a broad array of stakeholders.

GASSOL YOUTH EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVES (GYEI) is an innovative, high-impact approach to combating global youth unemployment.

We work with young people who are unlikely to have a viable route into legitimate employment and improve their situation without external help. We provide our students with transferable life and work skills that make them employable as well as empower them to make career choices and positive life decisions.
